This smoothie was a beautiful sunrise colour before we added all the greens. Still it retains the tropical tastes that one would enjoy when sitting on the beach in a sunny paradise. Enjoy!
Tropical Hemp Smoothie
Ingredients:
2 cups water
1 scoop Vega One, natural
1 scoop, Whey Protein Isolate, unflavoured
1 heaping tbsp chia seeds
1/4 cup hemp hearts
1 tbsp chlorella powder
2 cups pineapple
1/3 large papaya
1″ ginger, peeled
2 cups spinach
1 large handful of parsley
1 sprig mint
1 handful of arugula
1/2 avocado
2 lemons, juiced
Instructions:
- Add water to the blender first, and then all ingredients except the Vega and the whey.
- Puree together until desired consistency reached, adding more water if required.
- Lastly add Whey and Vega and mix for a few more seconds.
