Tangy Guacamole tastes great with veggies! Guacamole is great dip or spread for veggies, cracker and pita bread, and can be used for more than just a party pleaser. If you burn through breakfast and are starving 30 minutes later than add guac as your toast topping instead of jam. The healthy fats will slow down digestion and make you feel fuller, longer.

Tangy Guacamole

Ingredients:

1 ripe avocado
1 lime fresh squeezed
2 tbsp fresh cilantro
1/4 cup diced onion
pinch of sea salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocado in half length wise and turn.
  2. Squeeze the contents into a bowl from both halves, and discard the pits and peel.
  3. Mash avocado with lime juice, onion and sea salt with a fork, or use a food processor for a creamier texture.
  4. Stir in chopped cilantro. Use as a veggie dip or spread.
