The nutrients found in raw chocolate (cacao) have been linked to a number of health benefits and have been known to promote cardiovascular function & health, neutralize free radicals, and enhance physical and mental well-being.
Coconut oil contains medium chain triglycerides, which are metabolized differently and can have therapeutic effects on several brain disorders. The lauric acid in coconut oil can kill bacteria, viruses and fungi. This is super news! It can also improve blood cholesterol levels and may lower your risk of heart disease. It also increases your energy expenditure, helping to promote weight loss. New research is also showing that the fatty acids in coconut oil can boost brain function in Alzheimer’s patients.
The shredded coconut contains all of the benefits of the oil with the benefit of additional vitamins, minerals and fiber supporting the whole body.
Raw honey contains a variety of vitamins, minerals and probiotics keeping our intestinal health strong which in turn keeps our brains healthy and clear. It also has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-fungal and antioxidant properties which supports our immune system. Raw honey breaks down at a slower rate in our body than sugar, supporting blood sugar control, and calming our nerves.
