Review Written by: Briana Southward, Founder of The Naked Label
This is my all-time favourite documentary!! It is very well put together and extremely informative. You won’t be able to take your eyes off the TV and you won’t look at your food the same way again. It helps to inform you on the best choices you can make for you and your family’s health. If you are planning to buy one DVD to start your educational movie watching adventures. This is the one!

Review Written by: Briana Southward, Founder of The Naked Label
Food, Inc. exposes America’s industrialized food system and its effect on our environment, health, economy and workers’ rights. This was the first food based documentary I watched. It is a film that will inspire you to vote with your fork. This is information everyone should know.
King Corn
Review Written by: Briana Southward, Founder of The Naked Label
King Corn is a documentary about two friends, one acre of corn, and the subsidized crop that drives our fast-food nation. In King Corn, two friends who met in college move to the heartland to learn where their food comes from. With the help of friendly neighbors, genetically modified seeds, nitrogen fertilizers, and powerful herbizides, they plant and grow a bumper crop of America’s most-productive, most-subsidized grain on one acre of Iowa soil. But when they try to follow their pile of corn into the food system, what they find raises troubling questions about how we eat – and how we farm. This is a great movie to give you a fascinating overview of what goes on behind the scenes of this popular crop.
Simply Raw – Reversing Diabetes in 30 Days
Review Written by: Briana Southward, Founder of The Naked Label
If you are diabetic, or know someone who is, this movie is for you. It follows 7 people as they reverse their diabetes in 30 days under the supervision of Dr. Gabriel Cousins. One of the participants was on 19 different medications when he started this program, and in 30 days, he was off all 19 medications and had completely normal blood sugar. This is incredible and inspiring. A must see film.
