100119_butternut-squash-soup_curing-the-winter-blues_mainIf you are like me and live in a part of the world that is experiencing the cold weather right now, I have just the soup to warm you up! If you are one of the lucky ones who live somewhere that is hot and sunny right now… I’m so jealous!!!

No matter your climate, I still encourage you to give this Butternut Squash Soup recipe a try. It’s simple and delicious.

One thing I’ve noticed about soups is that you can change the flavour just by altering your spices. As I mention in the video, I encourage you to experiment with your spices. There are many different varieties available and each brings a unique taste to the table.

I don’t know about you but I love to eat! I especially love to eat foods that not only taste great but are jam-packed with healthy benefits. This soup for example is very high in beta-carotene which is converted to Vitamin A in the body (with the help of an enzyme made in the liver). Vitamin A can provide a lot of benefits such as helping with eyesight, skin health, lowering cancer risk and antioxidation. On that note, let’s get cookin’, my mouth is salivating just thinking about it!
