I am sure everyone has had a green smoothie at least a few times in their life, but have you ever had a smoothie bowl? It’s the same concept of a smoothie, just in a bowl of course 😉
This green smoothie is absolutely delicious and packed with so many great ingredients that will keep you feeling energized all day long. Sometimes it’s nice to have a smoothie bowl for breakfast rather than a typical smoothie, because it helps you to take some time and enjoy all that goodness rather than wolfing it down!
The ingredients in this smoothie bowl are completely customizable to your own needs or preferences, so please feel free to omit or modify any of the ingredients. For example, if you don’t have baobab powder, simply omit it or add another superfood if you want. Or, if you don’t have spinach, you could use another green leafy vegetable like kale.

- 2 big handfuls of spinach
- ½ cup to ¾ cup of water or coconut water
- 1 banana
- 1-2 TB chia seeds
- 1-2 TB hemp hearts
- 1 tsp baobab powder
- Unsweetened coconut flakes
- Raspberries (mine were frozen)
- Almonds
- Goji berries
- Chia seeds
- Add all smoothie ingredients into your blender and blend until completely smooth.
- Add to your bowl.
- Then place your desired toppings on top.
- Enjoy!
