Flourless Fudgy Brownies Decadent, divine, ridiculously moist and rich…yet guilt-free baby! These paleo brownies are made with pumpkin puree and are free of flour, gluten, and dairy. These fudgy brownies are bursting with nutrition and flavour. A great healthy way to keep those sweet cravings at bay, and endorphins skyrocketing! What an awesome way to get those kiddies to eat more veggies! (All our little chocoholics, can’t get enough of them!) 

Flourless Fudgy Brownies

Ingredients:

1 cup almond or hazelnut butter (or a combination of both)
1 cup of unsweetened pumpkin puree
1 egg
1/2 cup of maple syrup (or honey)
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp of baking soda
2 teaspoons of vanilla
1 tbsp of coconut oil
½ cup dark chocolate chips (at least 70% cacao)
Optional – 1/3 cup walnuts or pecans, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together in a medium sized bowl, until well incorporated and smooth.
  3. Pour the batter evenly into an 8 x 8 lightly greased baking dish. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  4. Let the brownies cool and enjoy!

Holiday Variation

To add a holiday flare to these decadent brownies, add 1 tsp of cinnamon, ¼ – ½ tsp each of nutmeg and allspice into the batter.
